Community Guidelines
Effective 2026-05-01
Adorable is built on respect, consent, and local warmth. To keep it that way, every account agrees to these rules. We enforce them. Severe or repeated violations result in permanent suspension under our Terms of Service.
1. Be kind
No harassment, hate speech, threats, or discriminatory language based on race, ethnicity, gender, sexuality, religion, disability, or any protected status.
2. Be real
Use your own photo and name. No impersonating other people, businesses, or brands. No fake check-ins. Phone verification is required to send messages — this is a safety gate, not an inconvenience.
3. Respect presence
Check-ins and "Live on map" presence are time-limited by design. Don't lurk, wait, or build a pattern around someone else's location. Don't share another user's location, photo, voice notes, or messages outside the app without their consent.
4. Meet safely
If you agree to meet someone in person, choose a public place, tell someone you trust, and trust your instincts. Adorable is an introduction, not an endorsement. We can't verify intent.
5. No illegal content or activity
No content depicting or promoting violence, child sexual abuse material (CSAM), trafficking, drug sales, weapons sales, or other illegal activity. CSAM is reported to the relevant authorities, full stop.
6. No spam, scams, or commercial solicitation
No mass messaging, phishing, romance scams, crypto pitches, "investment opportunities", or unsolicited advertising. Promote your own business outside the app.
7. Report, don't retaliate
Block and report anyone who makes you uncomfortable. Don't retaliate, dox, or organize pile-ons. We review every report.
8. Photo standards
Profile photos must clearly show your face. No nudity, no group photos as your hero shot, no logos, no minors. Place photos you submit must be your own or properly licensed.
What happens if you violate these
Reports are reviewed by Adorable's moderation team. Depending on severity we will: warn, suspend, or permanently ban the account; remove offending content; and where required by law, report to authorities. Suspended accounts retain their data for 30 days during which they may appeal to hello@oriverse.com.
